Hi everyone. How’s your day today? Actually it’s my first time to type down an article online.  So, please bear with me. I’m not that good at oral communication but it’s your time to judge me at my written skills. I don’t know why, but I am not really confident to speak in front of the crowd (some of you may be related to what I’m saying, right?). That feeling when you do have a lot of stuffs in your mind, but when it’s your time to speak, you can’t earn confidence to say them all. (How ironic, I’m a Marketing and Advertising student, but I’m not into PUBLIC speaking. Haha)

So, that’s all for my summarized Me. Let’s know each other now. I’m Ela Mae Delos Reyes Amacio, 19 years of age, living at Imus Cavite and studying at De La Salle University- Dasmarinas. I am now a graduating Marketing and Advertising Management student (I hope so. haha).

I’ve been the Vice President for External Communication of the Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (JFINEX). Being in this position, I am responsible to disseminate the organization’s information inside and outside the school. I am the one who coordinates with other JFINEX organizations of other schools if there are important events to take care of. Talking about information dissemination, I’ve been the Layout artist of the JFINEX-DLSUD Bulletin Board and fortunately, we just won the Best Bulletin Award.  (Thank God, I’m really an Artist.).

I am not born to be a competitive and sociable person.  I am a type of a person who is always contented with what I can do. I don’t challenge myself to go beyond what I can do. My philosophy before is that, “be contented with what you have and what you can, do yours and let others do theirs”.  But this philosophy of mine changed due to experiences that I have encountered.  Facing the fact that there are lots of people who are trying to pull you down, I have to be strong and always do the best for me not to be tamed.

So, that’s all I can say for now. This is my first time and I hope this is not that bad.
